Organisations can easily ensure that they can control whether their calling identity is revealed with the 141/ 1470 services, so revealing their number or preventing its release to called parties.

Provides an announcement giving the time and date of the last call and the ability to return the call by dialling 3. The subsequent call is charged at normal dialled rates. Customers can withhold their number on a per call basis by prefixing that number with 141. The permanent number withhold facility will withhold the number for all calls.
This service may not be compatible with certain types of payphone.

1471 Extra
1471 Extra provides an announcement giving the time and date of up to the last five calls and the ability to return the call by dialling 3. The subsequent call is charged at normal dialled rates. Customers can withhold their number on a per call basis by prefixing that number with 141. The permanent number withhold facility will withhold the number for all calls. A Tone Dialling phone is required for 1471 Extra.

Call Barring
Call Barring service will only bar calls made via the BT network and not those made via alternative Service Providers. Reverse charge calls can still be accepted when Call Bar has been activated. Call barring options are available where the customer is provisioned via CPS.

Call Diversion
Once set up all calls to a line are diverted to the number specified by the user. The divert to number can be changed/activated/deactivated at any time using the telephone keypad. The diverted part of the call is charged to the renter of the service at customer prevailing tariff for the destination diverted to; calling customers pay the call charge only to the number dialled. When using the Call Diversion service, it is not possible to divert calls using Indirect Access codes. Where a customer is set up on CPS the diverted call will route via the CPS.

Ring Back
This facility allows customers to be notified when a dialled number is no longer busy after an The charge is raised when the distinctive ringing occurs and the network is ready to set up the Ring Back call.

Three Way Calling
Allow the customer to set up a three way call where each participant pays at normal dialled rates for the part of the call that they dialled.

Last 5 Calls [1475]
Customers can replace details of their Last Caller 1471 data by using 1471 Last 5 Calls. The access code is 1475. If a customer has the facility to dial 1471 on their line and hear details of their last caller, they will be able to dial 1475 and replace the last caller's details with a message advising ‘number withheld’. If customers have had their number permanently withheld and they wish to replace the last caller's details as above, they will have to release their number first by dialling 1470, then dial 1475.
The service will not work if the customer's number is not released.
